The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of complex claims for clients through the full claims lifecycle, which will predominantly relate to the Energy class of business including Renewables, Power, Upstream, and Downstream Energy claims. Although a knowledge of other classes of business such as Property, Engineering, and Liability would be advantageous.
You will build and manage relationships with clients to explain the claims process and manage their expectations throughout. You will also work with each client prior to any claims arising to educate them on how to be prepared for a claim should one arise, including the information and documentation required, the claims process, and anticipated timescales for each step of the process. This position requires a deep understanding of the claims process, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex claims effectively. The role is pivotal in ensuring that clients receive prompt and fair resolution of their claims while also maintaining strong relationships with (re)insurance companies and other stakeholders.
