Asst. Technician - CCTV/Access Control & Gate Barrier

Job Objective

The CCTV & Access Control Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining ELV components such as Analog and IP cameras, Access Control systems, and building main intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain all ELV Equipment using hand tools and power tools.

2. Diagnose malfunctioning CCTV systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct breakdowns as quickly as possible.

3. Install, service, and repair intercom systems.

4. Program Access Control Panels & Systems in coordination with superiors.

5. Install & Program DVR Recording Units in coordination with superiors.

6. Troubleshoot cameras, DVRs, NVRs, computers, peripherals, and other hardware.

7. Meet with HSE Supervisors/Engineers daily to receive areas of concentration and special assignments.

8. Maintain records and files, prepare reports, and request materials as needed.

9. Perform all delegated tasks assigned by HSE Engineer based on security patrolling reports.

10. Adhere to corporate standards as stated in the departmental training manual.

11. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager or Department Head.

12. Ensure compliance with the company's policies, rules, and procedures related to Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.

Experience Requirement

- Secondary School with 4-6 Years of Experience

Skill Sets

- Good understanding of proper handling of electrical equipment/power tools and ability to maintain them in perfect working order.

- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

- Ability to analyze the root cause of electrical faults.

- Excellent understanding of electrical-related works.

- Knows how to fix electrical issues or faults.
