Job Description Responsibilities The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having 20+ years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player. Job responsibilities will include: - Development of HSE design basis / philosophy - Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&IDs - Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment - Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts - Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts - Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts - Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc. - Experience in Safety review such as HAZID, HAZOP etc. - Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids Candidates having experience of working in offshore projects and safety studies experience are preferred. Kuwait oil and energy experience will be an added advantage
