Engineering Supervisor Pre-Opening Hotel

Job Description Job Description We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our team at a pre-opening hotel in Deira. This role will oversee daily engineering operations and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Key Responsibilities - Supervise daily operations of the engineering department. - Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of all MEP systems. - Respond promptly to engineering issues, breakdowns, and emergencies. - Conduct regular inspections and identify preventive maintenance requirements. - Coordinate with external contractors for specialized works and repairs. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. - Monitor energy consumption and support efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. - Supervise and train engineering team members to maintain high work standards. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel standards, and company policies. - Assist in planning preventive maintenance programs and department budgeting. - Support the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering in daily operations and projects. - Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Requirements: - Proven experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role, preferably in hotels or pre-opening properties. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems and hotel maintenance operations. - Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a technical team. - Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
