Job Description
What the Role Will Do
- Collection Design: Translate seasonal trends into commercial styles, creating detailed CAD designs,
- colorways, and tech packs for production.
- Technical Specification: Detail upper patterns, last shapes, heel specs, hardware, and outsole designs, ensuring clear communication for buyers to suppliers.
- Sample Development: Review prototype samples, evaluate fit and material quality, and issue clear
- correction comments.
- Market & Commercial Alignment: Work alongside buying team to meet target price points and range requirements.
- Hardware & Trim Detailing: Execute 2D graphic layouts for physical components (trims, buckles, and branding plates).
- AI-Driven Conceptualization: Leverage AI tools to rapidly iterate on logo concepts, pattern variations, and moodboard imagery to shorten the feedback loop with the Head of Design.
- Visual Strategy (Moodboards): Assist in creating high-level moodboards that translate market trends into cohesive color stories, textures, and aesthetic directions. Skills & Requirements

Experience:
3–5 years of high-level Women's Fashion Footwear Design experience, preferably should have worked on/for a fashion, footwear, or a luxury to design
- Technical Suite: Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and possible Procreate and
- other design software
- Hand sketch ability, able to explore ideas and translate into hand sketches for early concepts
- AI Competency: Ability to use AI (e.g., Chat GPT, Midjourney, Firefly, DALL-E) as a tool for rapid
- ideation and moodboard generation.
- Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of lasts, heels, mold development, and factory production
- workflows.
