Job Description Job Title: Marketing Automation & SMS Specialist Location: Business bay Department: Marketing / Growth Reports To: Head of Marketing / Operations Lead 1. Job Purpose The Marketing Automation & SMS Specialist is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining SMS and AI-driven communication flows to support abandoned cart recovery and lead nurturing. The role focuses on driving higher conversions by integrating SMS automation with the company's call center operations, enhancing campaign performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. 2. Key Responsibilities SMS Platform Setup & Configuration - Set up and configure SMS platforms such as Twilio, Attentive, Verse.ai, or similar tools. - Build automated SMS flows for cart recovery, follow-ups, and lead nurturing. - Integrate SMS systems with existing CRM and ViciDial call center software. AI Interaction & Automation - Configure and optimize AI conversational agents for SMS. - Create high-converting scripts and conversation flows tailored to customer journeys. Performance Monitoring & Optimization - Track campaign performance and implement improvements to maximize conversion rates. - Conduct A/B testing for message variations, timing, and sequence optimization. - Analyze data trends and provide recommendations based on insights. Compliance & Standards - Ensure all SMS messaging and campaigns comply with TCPA, GDPR, and relevant regional regulations. 3. Communications & Working Relationships Internal: - Marketing team - Call center operations (ViciDial team) - Tech/CRM integration team - Operations and Growth teams External: - SMS platform vendors - AI automation providers - CRM and integration partners - Third-party consultants or support teams 4. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field (preferred). Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience with SMS marketing platforms. - Experience with marketing automation tools (Twilio, Attentive, Klaviyo, or similar). - Understanding of API integrations and CRM systems. - AI/chatbot platform experience is a plus. - Experience in e-commerce, abandoned cart recovery, or lead generation is preferred. Skills & Competencies: - Strong analytical and data-driven approach. - Ability to build automated flows and optimize performance. - Strong copywriting skills for SMS communication. - Good understanding of compliance requirements (TCPA, GDPR). - Fluent in English (written and spoken). 5.
