Role Overview Design and oversee the construction of marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and classification society standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop general arrangements, hull forms, stability analysis, and structural layouts. Coordinate with structural, piping, and E&I engineering teams during design and construction. Perform hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and resistance & propulsion calculations. Ensure designs comply with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and classification society requirements. Conduct mandatory site visits as per project requirements. Deployment in the client office and relocation as per project requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications AutoCAD (2D/3D) for drafting & detailing Proficiency in stability software (AutoHydro, Maxsurf) Preferred Qualifications Rhino 3D, ShipConstructor, AVEVA Marine, CADMATIC OrcaFlex, GHS, MOSES for simulation & offshore load analysis
