Back Order & Fill Management Supervisor

Location:
Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Job Purpose: The Supervisor oversees the order fulfillment process, ensuring consistent achievement of the target fill rate and efficient management of back‑order lines through data analysis and cross‑functional coordination. Principal Accountabilities
- Lead the back‑order team
- Maintain a high system fill rate ensuring the right part is available at the right time
- Monitor and manage back orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and communication with various teams
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize back orders and improve order fulfillment rates
- Coordinate with Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability
- Work closely with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve order‑related issues
- Prepare and maintain reports on order status and fulfillment performance
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement in the order fulfillment process and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the fulfillment process
- Train and guide team members on SOPs and best practices Key Performance Indicators

- Back Orders Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, or supply chain management in the automotive industry Education
- Engineering (Automotive/Mechanical). Additional education in supply chain management is a plus. Skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Proficiency in SAP or other inventory management software and systems
- Analytical skills, with excellent proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools Benefits
