Job Description The Officer Collections & Retentions role is pivotal in supporting Key deliverables of the function. Analyzing data, developing strategies to minimize bucket flows enhance customer experience, and reduce bad debts / Churn . This role is crucial in maintaining control over bad debt by implementing robust systems that optimize collections and reduce bad debts. By leveraging data-driven insights, the officer ensures an efficient and reliable framework that supports the E&'s financial health. Officer shall liaison with Manager Collections & Retentions and work jointly in fulfilling the KPI and process requirements. It's expected that the team will be kept engaged, effectively utilized and one-time resolutions of highlighted issues. Responsibilities - Develop and Implement Collection & Retention Strategies: Design and enforce comprehensive strategies for management that align with the consumer portfolio’s overall business objectives. Analyse financial data and bad debt / Churn trends to anticipate potential risks and develop proactive measures to mitigate them. - Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at reducing the risk of bad debt and churn, enhancing decision-making processes, and improving overall financial health. Ensure projects are completed on time and deliver the expected outcomes. - Churn Analytics: Spearhead initiatives aimed for Churn Reduction working closely with overall Consumer Growth Analytics verticals - Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including sales, IT, and customer experience, to ensure a cohesive approach to credit risk management. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to align efforts and share insights. - Data Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyse data related to Sales, churn and bad debt to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and project progress to senior management and other stakeholders. - Customers experience enhancement: Lead projects aimed at reducing customer calls to front-line desks by improving self-service options and enhancing the clarity and accessibility of information.
