Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Expert - Corporate Strategy & Performance for our trusted Gov&apost client to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and oversee the implementation of a practical, effective, and efficient corporate strategy and performance system that supports the Company&aposs Strategic and operational planning process as well as the measurement and reporting structure of the Company&aposs organizational performance.

1.Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement corporate strategies aligned with the Company&aposs goals and objectives by organizing business environment assessment processes; scenario planning and thorough research on the challenges faced by the aviation industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and industry trends.
- Develop, implement, and manage a practical and effective corporate performance management system that measures and produces reports on the Company&aposs organizational performance at monthly and quarterly intervals.
- Support the business units in defining key plans and initiatives that translate the strategy to operations, to be tracked at the corporate level.
- Organize workshops to facilitate strategic discussions, assess or carry out organizational DNA, baseline study, stakeholder study, benchmark study, and review of the pertinent UAE legislation or ICAO regulations to identify issues of strategic relevance to the Company.
- Coordinate with the business owners to develop remedial actions for the shortfalls in the Operational Plan targets. Follow up on the implementation of remedial actions and report to senior management.
- Carry out impact assessment studies and formulate strategic recommendations in response to changes in the global and national aviation sector. Initiate special studies, market and competitive research pertaining to the future of the Company and the UAE aviation sector.
- Develop initiatives based on the Federal Government shared KPIs to ensure accomplishment of these key performance indicators and monitor corporate performance, providing recommendations for improvements and optimization based on the data.
- Identify areas for cost reduction that will result in higher efficiency and optimization.
- Communicate the strategic plans and performance insights to internal stakeholders while ensuring collaboration with relevant stakeholders to align operational activities with the Companys mission and vision.
- Develop presentations, speeches, and outlines; monitor industry trends and Company surveys and studies to produce consolidated summary reports to business owners. Provide support to the strategic issues management process, i.e., identify and assess strategic issues, assess opportunities and threats to develop recommendations.
- Work with the Business Unit heads on translating their respective departmental strategies and objectives into departmental plans, which will be used in the development of Operational Plans for each Sector of the Company.

2.Corporate Performance Management Framework :

- Develop a proper tracking and reporting system against corporate performance objectives, focusing on analyzing the impact of deviations from plans and objectives to provide senior management with timely visibility of performance progress and the Risk Assessment reports.
- Lead the process of introducing the Balanced Scorecard-based strategic planning process, provide guidance on process and methodology, and develop cross-Company capabilities.
- Develop and maintain a system for the timely extraction and collection of data for the departmental KPIs through tools, templates, and systems to ensure goals and objectives are set as agreed, and results are monitored timely.
- Ensure establishing the definition of key performance indicators (corporate and departmental KPIs) and targets for the Company&aposs services so that performance can be monitored and that achieved results are aligned with agreed objectives.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological and innovative advancements and industry best practices, ensuring the implementation of the latest technology within the Company.
- Assess the risks associated with the implemented corporate strategy and develop contingency plans to mitigate the risks.
- Ensure individual alignment with the Corporate Performance Management System, coordinating with the HR appraisal system owner to ensure the cascading and alignment of the Company&aposs objectives to departments and individuals.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure consistent application of the corporate strategy and performance scheme across the departments to contribute to the improvement of organizational efficiency.

Requirements:

- A Master&aposs degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor&aposs degree with 9 years of experience in the UAE.
- Extensive expertise in Corporate Excellence, particularly in government-related sectors.
- Proven expertise in Corporate Performance Management and Corporate Strategic Planning.
- Native Arabic speakers are required.
