Job Description: XRay / Arc / Rig Welders

Position: XRay / Arc / Rig Welders

Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary: 70000 per month

Main Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality welding tasks including XRay, Arc, and Rig welding on various materials and structures.
2. Interpret and work from technical blueprints, schematics, and welding process specifications.
3. Ensure precision and adherence to safety and quality standards for all welding operations.
4. Conduct inspections to identify welding defects and rectify them effectively.
5. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in optimal working condition.
6. Adhere to industry safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
7. Complete assigned welding projects within the specified timeframe while maintaining quality and efficiency.
8. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to execute tasks effectively and address challenges.

Essential Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
2. Certification in XRay, Arc, or Rig welding is mandatory (e.g. ASME or AWS certified welders).
3. Proven experience of at least 1 year in a similar role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or heavy machinery industries.

Skills Required:

1. Proficiency in XRay, Arc, and Rig welding techniques.
2. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
3. Knowledge of various welding materials, processes, and their applications.
4. Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks to ensure structural integrity.
5. Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments such as at heights or in confined spaces.
6. Good understanding of safety standards and practices in the welding industry.
7. Strong troubleshooting skills to address and resolve welding issues efficiently.
