Job TitleTechnical Lighting Designer Electrical EngineerLocationDubai UAEEmployment TypeFull-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Lighting Designer Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and preparing technical drawings, support and layouts for lighting products and projects. The role requires close coordination with production, project and sales teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical drawings shop drawings and 2D 3D designs for lighting fixtures and systemsPrepare techncal submittals samples submission for client developers for approval coordination with procurementDevelop lighting layoutsReview technical specifications prepare lighting design presentationsCoordinate with clients project managers and production teams regarding design requirements and project specificationsEnsure all designs comply with applicable standards regulations and quality requirementsPrepare Bills of Materials BOM and technical documentationProvide technical support during project execution and production stagesConduct site visits when required for measurements inspections and project coordinationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in lighting design & technical support for lighting projects. Knowledge of lighting products, LED technology, technical submittals fabrication processes, and manufacturing methods is preferred. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred SkillsExperience in decorative, architectural, or commercial lighting design. Knowledge of lighting calculations and design software such as Dialux. Experience preparing technical submittals and project documentation. Lighting controls, DALI, DMX, Phase-Cut, 0/1-10V.
