Job Description
/ Role: InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and taking reservations
- Assure that each guest is made to feel welcome, comfortable and is served promptly, politely, and efficiently during all meal seating
- Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service
- Engaging with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service
- Assist the restaurant manager in all aspects of the daily operation of the restaurant
- Responding to complaints and help to resolve them
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed. Experience Required: 2+ years in a similar role. Skills Required:
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and food
- Focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage team operations, inventory, and financial tasks
