Role Overview: The Senior Façade Consultant will lead the technical design, coordination, and delivery of façade systems across a range of high-profile projects. This role requires deep expertise in façade engineering, materials, and construction methods, with the ability to provide strategic and technical guidance from concept through to completion. The Senior Consultant will act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors, ensuring that façade solutions meet design intent, performance criteria, and budget constraints while upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation. Responsibilities: Lead façade design and engineering throughout all project stages, ensuring technical excellence from concept to construction. Provide specialized guidance on façade materials, systems, performance, and detailing to achieve architectural and functional goals. Ensure all façade designs comply with applicable codes, sustainability standards, and fire safety regulations. Review and validate façade calculations, performance criteria, and technical specifications to maintain design integrity. Manage multiple façade projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery within defined scope and budget. Coordinate effectively with architects, structural, and MEP teams, as well as façade specialists and contractors. Oversee and review technical submissions, shop drawings, and mock-ups to confirm alignment with design intent. Conduct quality reviews, peer checks, and mentorship for junior engineers to uphold high technical standards. Promote innovative materials, sustainable strategies, and digital design tools in façade development and research. Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, providing professional consultancy and support for proposals and project delivery. Requirements: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in façade design and consultancy. Proven record in leading complex façade projects across multiple building typologies. Strong understanding of glass, aluminium, steel, stone, GFRC, and composite façade systems. Knowledge of structural and thermal performance principles related to façades. Familiarity with international façade standards (EN, ASTM, CWCT, AAMA, and others). Understanding of BIM coordination and digital workflows is an advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage teams and deliver results under tight deadlines. Membership in a professional engineering or architectural body (e.g., CEng, RIBA, P.E.).
