We work with leading regional clients across a diverse portfolio of assets. Our cost management team operates as single service provider across some of the region's most prominent developments. Role OverviewWe are seeking a driven and detail-focused Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial delivery of a large residential project. Reporting to the Project Lead Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will lead and manage cost control, valuations, variation and change management from contract award through to final account. The role will be responsible for maintaining commercial accuracy, effective cost management and protection of the project's financial position throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and assess interim valuations, payment applications and certificationsPrepare, assess and negotiate variations, change orders and contract instructionsPrepare monthly cost reporting, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete analysisManage post-contract commercial administration and maintain accurate recordsAssess subcontractor payment applications, account reconciliation and final accountsCarry out remeasurement and reconciliation against BOQs and drawingsMaintain cost registers, trackers and commercial documentationLiaise with clients, project teams and subcontractors to resolve commercial mattersRequirements5 to 7 years of post-contract Quantity Surveying experienceStrong site-based QS experience, preferably in fit-out/refurbishment or residential projectsGood knowledge of standard forms of contract and post-contract commercial processesProficiency in CostX or equivalent measurement/cost management softwareStrong numerical, analytical and negotiation skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesDegree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related disciplineMRICS or working towards MRICS is an advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We're Looking ForExcellent communication skillsDriven and proactive approachAbility to manage competing prioritiesStrong commercial awarenessAbility to work effectively with project teams and supply chainHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail
