Purpose of the Role The Data Governance & Management Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks across the organization. This role ensures data integrity, quality, accessibility, and compliance with global standards, while managing data confidentiality and access controls. Key Responsibilities - Implement data governance policies, processes, and standards in alignment with global frameworks. - Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data quality, compliance, and confidentiality. - Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures. - Conduct data quality assessments and audits to ensure reliable and high-quality data. - Identify and execute solutions to improve data reliability and quality. - Utilize technologies such as Snowflake, Atlan, and LeanIX to manage and govern data. - Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and IT stakeholders to integrate governance policies into data pipelines and models. - Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices. Skills Skills and Competencies - Strong understanding of data governance principles (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, ISO/IEC 38500, NIST AI RMF). - Hands‑on experience in implementing data quality solutions and processes. - Proficiency in data management tools and technologies such as Atlan and LeanIX. - Experience with data visualization tools for monitoring governance metrics. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements. - Project management experience in data governance initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in data governance management or a similar role. - Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) is preferred. - Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in data governance is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
