Job Description
Job Summary:
As Storekeeper, you will manage the goods and deliveries moving in and out of the hotel and will ensure that these deliveries reach the appropriate destinations and are logged according to the hotel's purchasing and procurement standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact/storage area.
2. Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
3. Identify slow-moving items to avoid over-purchasing.
4. Place orders through the online procurement system.
5. Maintain exclusive control over central stores of the hotel with respect to issue releases, control over deliveries, and hotel stock counts.
6. Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures, particularly relating to food and beverage items.
7. Assist and support Team Members, Managers, and the wider Food and Beverage Department in a team environment.
8. Offer excellent customer service to customers and Guests.
Desired Skill & Expertise
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Previous store management experience with stock control responsibility in a 4/5* hotel.
2. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
3. Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
4. Excellent grooming standards.
5. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
6. Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
7. Relevant degree in Management/Finance or related business discipline from an academic institution.
