Dubai Career Level: Mid Career (2+ years of experience) Education: Bachelor's Degree Full time 4 days ago Positions: 1 No. of Application: 0 Job Views: 1 Role Purpose: The job holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating & assisting Tradesman/workers for carrying out periodic site/maintenance work progress in all day-to-day activities, ensuring all technical works in accordance with specification and project management manual. First line manager of staff from all disciplines employed on contracts. Key Task and Responsibilities: Daily Operations Management: Oversee and manage reactive maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and other electrical assets. Provide technical support and guidance to the team in all aspects of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Monitor work status in the CAFM system or equivalent tools (such as Excel) to ensure electrical tasks are progressing as planned, with updates handled by designated personnel. Participate in troubleshooting and technical investigations for any electrical system failures or service interruptions. Prepare estimates for additional works and generate quotations for clients as required. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal use for reactive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities related to electrical systems. Manage inventory in the CAFM system or equivalent tools, ensuring that electrical consumables and materials are available as needed for maintenance and repair. Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory levels and usage within the CAFM system or equivalent tools for electrical materials. Safety & Compliance: Plan and schedule maintenance work for electrical tasks, ensuring that a safe system of work is in place for all activities, including testing, commissioning, and reactive repairs. Lead by example, setting high standards for safe working practices and adherence to safety regulations in electrical maintenance. Set personnel to work, ensuring proper supervision and monitoring to guarantee adherence to safety standards and instructions during electrical works. Provide feedback and guidance to the team to ensure continuous improvement in safe working practices specific to electrical systems. Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols during all electrical-related tasks. Electrical Maintenance: Conduct regular QHSE inspections (L10) of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Ensure timely reporting and resolution of all electrical maintenance issues, addressing reactive maintenance tasks as they arise. Provide technical support and engage in troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical maintenance challenges, ensuring the effective and timely restoration of services. Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety regulations and the highest quality standards in electrical engineering. Customer Satisfaction: Liaise directly with clients or their representatives to ensure that electrical reactive maintenance, testing, and additional works meet the required specifications and expectations. Prepare detailed technical reports and estimates for additional works and generate quotations for clients as needed. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of electrical maintenance issues. Quality Control: Report, process, and address any identified deficiencies or concerns related to reactive maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems during any phase of the project, in accordance with company quality control procedures. Ensure that all electrical maintenance work is carried out to meet the required standards and specifications, conducting necessary checks and controls to verify quality throughout the process. Experience, Knowledge and Skills: - Electrical Engineering /Diploma with 5 years’ Experience in FM field. - IOSH Supervising Safely or Equivalent - At least 4 years’ experience in Engineering role. - Good Knowledge in all elements of FM services. - Fluency in English, Additional Language is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
