ResponsibilitiesAnalyze local data sources in the Asia-Pacific region and synthesize findings into structured evidence sets for interactive communications and policy productsSupport assessment of programme needs related to Climate, Peace and Security (CPS) and Women, Peace and Security (WPS) communicationsAssist in the preparation of web-based interactive products and data visualization formatsApply data intelligence frameworks and mapping tools to support knowledge product developmentFacilitate virtual design workshops with women peacebuilders and civil society organizationsApply do-no-harm and anonymization protocols to ensure responsible handling of community-level data and testimonialsMaintain up-to‐date knowledge of CPS‐WPS developments in the Asia‐Pacific regionCollaborate with UN Women country-desk colleagues to validate content for cultural and political accuracySupport the coordination of subcontracted technical partners involved in data layer developmentPrepare briefing notes, background papers, data summaries, and story cards for policy dialoguesMonitor and document the uptake and use of CPS‐WPS knowledge productsRequirementsMaster's degree in social sciences, conflict studies, gender studies, international affairs, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of professional experience in design, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of programmes related to WPS, CPS, or Data ManagementExperience creating web-based interactive products and data visualization formatsExperience in programming and advocacy work with governments and civil societyExcellent command of written EnglishPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with UN Women or other UN agenciesExperience in the Asia Pacific regionKnowledge of another UN official languageAbout the CompanyUN Women works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls, the empowerment of women, and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action, and peace and security.
