Job Description

We are hiring Service Engineer for one of the water treatment company in Dubai.

Position Sr. Service Engineer

Exp Min 5 years of exp

DL Mandatory

Education BE/Btech, Diploma

Special Skill Requirement - Process design in STP/ETP/Waste water treatment plants

Responsibilities/JD:

- Project Management.
- Material handling and Installation.
- Commissioning/Maintenance of all kinds of water and wastewater treatment plants, technologies such as Clarifiers, Filtration, Softeners, UV, UF, EDI, RO, DM plants, Aeration, MBBR, MBR etc.
- Troubleshooting of water treatment plants.
- Site coordination and site management.
- Safety management on site.
- Coordination with the engineering team for the BOQ requirement for the erection & commissioning.
- Client management and understanding the priority and expectation of the client and satisfying the same for the good will of the company.
- Operation & Maintenances.
- Analysis of water parameters.
- Project execution/Maintenance Water/Wastewater/STP/TSE polishing system.
- Plant equipment installation with reference to P&ID, Piping Layout, and Isometric Drawings.
- Raising RFI & coordinating with the consultant for the approval upon the completion of Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
- Coordinate with client regarding site readiness to commerce installation activities.
- Optimize the plant performance to the designed commitment.
- Coordinate with project teak to execute the plant actions.
- Diagnosing & providing recommendation in process-oriented issues.
- Preparation of Method statement, checklist, TRA for installation, Testing & Commissioning.
- Generating monthly O&M, AMC Services report, monthly production & chemical consumption report and water analysis report.
- Surveying and sub mitting report of the actual/as built site condition with recommendation to sales team prior to bidding.
- In site-Apply & close the work permit and maintain the safety rules.
- Carry out the jobs assigned for water treatment for the assigned customer.
- Liaison with our sales team, consultants, contractors and our suppliers and provide smooth water treatment to our client.
- Developing process engineering in support of day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitor activities.
- Monitoring/evaluating performance and maintaining effective monitoring report.
- Troubleshooting operational and process quality problems in the following areas:- cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, process water treatment, chilled water, wastewater, domestic water, swimming pool water, etc. providing technical contact for operating procedures.
- Carrying out flushing work and supervising the same.
- Look for any additional service requirement for the client.
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of water treatment controllers/dosing systems.
- Programming and interface the controller of BMS/SCADA system.
- Knowledge on PLC, ethernet/IP address communication.
- Review current treatment program (case study) and provide enhanced technical support.
- Corrosion coupon monitoring.
- Biological control measures based onsite spot/lab test methods.
- Calibration of special sensors like PTSA, Fluorometers, Online Corrators, Turbidity, ORP etc.
- Coordinating with equipment suppliers for troubleshooting the dosing systems (Controllers, Pumps, Sensors) etc.
- You will maintain schedules and reports of work planned and completed in accordance with the administrative systems operated by the company.
- In conducting your work, you will observe all Health and Safety directives or guidelines in force in the company and as may be imposed by the customer. You will be expected to make full sure of safety equipment always issued to you by the team and act in a safe responsible manner.
- It will be your responsibility to support the team in all aspects of work mainly related to water treatment chemicals, to provide after sales service to the existing and new customers.
