F&B Procurement Project Lead

We are looking to hire an F&B Procurement Projects Lead who will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing end-to-end procurement projects within the Food & Beverage category for our client based in Dubai – one of the largest and most respected companies in the region. The person should also have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project delivery within the F&B or hospitality industry. This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance. The role sits within the Procurement Department and reports directly to the Senior Manager – F&B. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives within the F&B category to deliver cost optimization and process improvements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate procurement requirements into actionable sourcing plans. Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations to ensure operational excellence. Support the development and implementation of tendering processes, RFQs, and contract lifecycle management. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within procurement processes to achieve efficiency gains. Partner with finance and internal teams to streamline end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities. Monitor sourcing KPIs, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and manage budgets and spend targets. Stay abreast of market trends and recommend new strategies for sourcing and supplier innovation. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIPS or Project Management are an advantage. 3–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in Food & Beverage sourcing. Proven track record in project management for large‐scale or high‐value procurement projects. Strong understanding of contracts, legal terminology, and supplier negotiations. Experience in F&B supply, catering, or hospitality procurement preferred. Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to lead and guide procurement teams while maintaining a customer‐centric approach. Availability: Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within 30 days of accepting the offer.
