- 6,000 Job Code: 366/001/551 Industry: Hydraulics / Industrial Engineering Job Brief: Our client is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic equipment and systems. The role involves working with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs, and hydraulic actuators. The Hydraulic Engineer will be responsible for conducting pressure and performance testing, identifying the root causes of equipment failures, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that repair activities meet required quality and industry standards. The role also involves supervising workshop technicians, coordinating repair requirements, maintaining workshop equipment and inventory, and supporting field service activities when required. Job

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, power packs, and hydraulic actuators.
- Conduct pressure and performance testing using hydraulic test benches.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports, repair reports, and service documentation.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Coordinate with service technicians, the Planning team, and suppliers regarding repair requirements.
- Maintain workshop tools, testing equipment, and inventory.
- Ensure spare parts are correctly identified and ordered when required.
- Supervise workshop technicians and provide technical guidance.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Support field service activities when required. Job

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance, depending on the position level.
- Experience working with hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and power units.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems used in marine, industrial, or oil & gas equipment.
