Key Accountabilities:
1. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of technicians to achieve production goals and maintain high standards of quality.
2. Assembly Oversight: Monitor and guide the assembly process, ensuring adherence to established procedures and specifications.
3. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to identify and address any defects or issues.
4. Integration: Oversee the integration of mechanical, electrical, and avionics components into the final product.
5. Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of drone and UAV technology, including mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and avionics equipment.
6. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the assembly process.
7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the assembly process.
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
2. Certification in project management or lean manufacturing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the assembly of complex mechanical systems, preferably in the aerospace or electronics industry.
4. Proficiency in using relevant software tools and equipment.
5. Experience working with drones or UAVs.
6. Knowledge of avionics systems and regulations.
