Job Description
As an Azure Consultant (L2) supporting advanced enterprise cloud solutions in the UAE with TechEdge Solution, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Azure infrastructure deployments, managed services support, cloud migrations, and identity management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring Azure VMs, VNets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Firewalls, deploying Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework, executing migrations using Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery, managing Microsoft Entra ID with RBAC and Conditional Access, and administering backup and disaster recovery solutions. You will utilize your proactive L2 incident management skills, ITIL framework adherence, and scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform/Bicep to maintain robust hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain robust enterprise-grade Azure IaaS and PaaS infrastructure for UAE clients. Implement and optimize Azure Landing Zones adhering strictly to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Execute seamless cloud migrations utilizing Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and data migration pipelines. Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Conditional Access security policies. Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), routing tables, and Azure Firewalls. Set up and monitor comprehensive Azure Backup, disaster recovery solutions, and Azure Monitor alerting pipelines. Develop infrastructure automation and deployment scripts utilizing PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform or Bicep. Provide expert L2 incident management, root-cause analysis, ITIL-compliant support, and SLA adherence. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive professional experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure administration, cloud consulting, or managed services. Strong practical hands-on operational expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, VMs, VNets, NSGs, and Azure Firewall. Comprehensive knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Migrate, and Azure Site Recovery. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID administration, RBAC security, and Conditional Access policies. Solid scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and Bicep. Mandatory certification: AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate). Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong customer-facing consulting capabilities. Mandatory legal work eligibility in the United Arab Emirates with local residency and availability for UAE operations. Nice-to-Have Skills Advanced professional Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer, or AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer). Prior professional working experience in customer-facing consulting roles or managed service provider (MSP) environments in the GCC region. Familiarity with Windows Server administration, Active Directory domain services, DNS, and DHCP environments.
