Your Responsibilities

1. Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering requirements and providing technical support for installation and responsible for testing and commissioning activities.
2. Preparing project documentation within one's scope of deliverables and providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract.
3. Creating work plans in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
4. Assisting customer on technical issues, interacting with official contacts, contractors and other staff within the scope of deliverables.
5. Collaborating with supply chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers and assigning tasks and coordinating with draftsman, technicians, administrative staff.
6. Participating in design review meetings with consultants or clients to resolve design-related issues.
7. Ensuring technical support for project management to give a brief answer to any customer need for clarifications.
8. Ability to explain and discuss with the customer Hitachi Energy technical solutions, to have a good relationship with the customer and to have a clear picture of all job details and preparing project documentation for FAT and SAT.
9. Testing of SCMS with SCADA Control System and conducting FAT and SAT and obtaining approvals from utilities for design and commissioning activities of SCMS Systems.

Your background

1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
2. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as a design and commissioning engineer of SCMS systems is preferred.
3. Working knowledge and understanding of GPRS system on various protocols i.e., IEC101, IEC 103, IEC104, DNP 3.0, IEC 61850, MODBUS SCMS TCP/IP/Serial, SPABUS Communication and also PLC programming acc. to IEC mainly on FBD, LD via MultiProg ProConOS runtime system is required.
4. Sound experience on IED integration with SCMS/SCADA and Micro SCADA Pro control systems is preferred.
5. Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
