Job Description
Are you the kind of person who tracks details like trends, negotiates like a pro, and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes? At Boutiqaat, we're looking for a Purchasing Officer who can blend precision, planning, and partnership to keep our shelves full and our supply chain flawless especially in the fast-paced world of Beauty & Cosmetics. What You'll Be DoingYou'll be the engine behind product availability ensuring the right products arrive at the right time, in the right quantity, at the right cost. Create accurate purchase orders (quantities, specs, timelines no detail overlooked)Track shipments and monitor order status from supplier to warehouseResolve delivery delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies with confidenceAct as the key bridge between suppliers and internal teamsMaintain optimal stock levels no overstock, no stockoutsForecast demand using historical data, promotions, and market trendsConduct inventory audits and ensure stock accuracyAlign closely with purchasing and warehouse teamsCollaborate with Marketing to ensure accurate product listings (descriptions, pricing, images, availability)Support category assortment decisions aligned with consumer demand and brand positioningCoordinate timely and cost-effective product deliveryMonitor shipping timelines and customs clearance processesProactively address delays, damaged goods, or shipment discrepanciesTrack supplier lead times and quality standardsGenerate reports on purchasing activity, stock levels, and product performanceProvide data-driven recommendations for operational improvementsWhat You Bring to the Table: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience (Beauty & Cosmetics industry preferred)Advanced Excel skillsERP system proficiencyFluent EnglishStrong analytical and negotiation skillsCustomer-oriented and proactive mindsetExceptional attention to detailAbility to forecast demand and manage inventory effectivelySkilled in vendor communication and logistics coordinationReporting expertise with actionable insightsWhy Boutiqaat?
