Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our development team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior developers to build and maintain high-quality software applications.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers. Identify, troubleshoot, and fix basic software bugs and technical issues. Assist in developing and integrating APIs and database solutions. Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements. Write and maintain technical documentation. Learn and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologies. Participate in team meetings and Agile/Scrum development activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or PHP. Understanding of object-oriented programming and fundamental data structures. Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Basic understanding of APIs, software testing, and debugging. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Internship experience or personal software development projects. Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, .
NET, or Spring Boot. Basic understanding of web development and responsive design. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
