Roles & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for control and co-ordination of all yard and gate operational activities within the container terminal.
2. Effectively deploy staff during shifts, in accordance with the terminal shift plan and staff rosters.
3. Check yard equipment status with the technical teams to ensure operations are aligned and avoid any delays.
4. Provide support to yard/gate/vessel and planning teams, ensuring optimized operations, with effective utilization of equipment by maintaining a safe environment.
5. Conduct toolbox talks for Yard Operator personnel, on overall operation and outcomes expected.
6. Check in/out drivers at the window to facilitate inbound or outbound truck transactions.
