We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rebar Detailer to join our team in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

1. Review Tender & IFC information model issued by consultants (2D drawings, BIM models & asset data) as per ISO19650
2. Support the Rebar coordinator in submittal planning and other documents as required
3. Create BBS, rebar shop drawings and as-built drawings
4. Update shop drawings with design changes from IFC, RFI&DFC
5. Extract sections from 3D BIM model to prepare rebar details
6. Ensure all work is passed to the document controller
7. Notify the rebar related discrepancies or any missing to the team for RFI
8. Support the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries
9. Complete work to the highest standard, ensuring a high-quality product for the client
10. Support the sub-contractor in producing shop drawings
11. Prepare & send the rebar call-offs to the cut & bend factory/Site Rebar yard
12. Provide practical solutions for rebar installation & avoid congestion at site
13. Knowledge of non-standard shape codes
14. Rebar coordination for structural steel & PT works at site

Requirements

1. 3 Year Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years' experience in Rebar Detailing
2. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
3. Knowledge of MS Office & Adobe Acrobat
4. Knowledge in ACI & BS-8666

Preferable but not necessary:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
2. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit /Tekla
