The Account Director will lead client accounts, develop strategic marketing and PR plans, ensure clients receive appropriate services, and oversee seamless campaign execution. This critical role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, a profound understanding of the PR and marketing landscape, and extensive knowledge of Web3, especially within a startup environment.
Enthusiasm for the emerging tech and Web3 space is essential.
Reporting Structure: The Account Director reports to the Managing Director. Directors participate in weekly meetings with C-level executives and are part of the decision-making team for Luna Media Corp.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for high-level client discussions, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand clients' business objectives and develop customised strategies to achieve their goals.
- Lead the client onboarding process while empowering account managers to handle day-to-day communication with clients.
- Ensure account managers provide leadership and mentorship to account executives.
- Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and communication through weekly calls.
- Anticipate and resolve client issues effectively.
- Identify revenue opportunities and offer clients strategic advisory and partnership services.
- Oversee and manage a maximum of 8-10 clients depending on the size of the account.
2. Strategic Planning:
- Develop comprehensive PR and marketing strategies that align with client objectives.
- Identify opportunities for clients to enhance their brand presence and market share.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into strategic planning.
3. Campaign/ Media Execution:
- Oversee the implementation of PR and marketing campaigns from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with creative, content, and digital teams to deliver high-quality campaign assets.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimise results.
4. Business Development and Relationship-Building:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's client base.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
- Oversee end-of-month reports drafted by account managers.
- Utilize data and analytics tools (e.g., MuckRack) to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key performance metrics and insights.
- Use feedback and analytics to continually improve campaign outcomes.
- Ensure account executives keep internal management trackers updated daily.
6. Team Management:
- Ensure the training and development of team members.
- Conduct regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Ensure quality control on all account services, including PR, social media, and community management.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote work two days per week after 3 months of joining the company. All meetings with C-level are in person when possible. Occasional travel may be required for industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:
- Press Releases, Media Relations, and Strategic Communications skills
- Account Management and Public Relations experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and media contacts
- Experience in the technology or related industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
