Job Description As Sav's Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for all legal, compliance, and dataprivacy matters.This is a complex role requiring sound experience in DIFCand UAE regulations, contract law, technology and software licenses, andnegotiation of large and complex deals. Negotiate, draft, and review variouscontracts including customers, subcontractors, suppliers, service providers,inter-company, consulting, and software licensing. Draftingand amending customer and partner facing documentation, including terms andconditions, product disclosure, policy, regulatory disclosures and growthpromotions. Provide legal analysis and comprehensiverisk assessment to manage and mitigate risks. Draft, organize, and review integralcorporate documents and materials required for audits, due diligence, and othercorporate activities. Monitor and ensure the company'scompliance with data protection laws, advise on data processing activities, andact as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and individuals. Create and update contract templates andenhance contracting procedures. Provide advice and support to otherdepartments in meeting obligations associated with contracts and agreements. Take lead on variations in regulatorylicenses or new license applications with local and international regulators toexpand across geographies and product lines. Identify and consult on legal risks andcompliance issues in connection with the structuring, development, marketing,and promotion of new products. Assist on the onboarding and offboardingof team members across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain statutory registers, file legaldocuments, and coordinate board and shareholder meetings. Assisting with board and board committeemanagement, including preparing agendas, action lists and minutes of meetingsand promoting good corporate governance. Manage key business partnerships and leadclient discussions. Work proactively with regulators,partners, investors and internal stakeholders to facilitate decision making andcompleting necessary submissions. Ensure the company complies withapplicable anti-money laundering regulations through advising on systemicprocesses and frameworks, investigating suspicious activity, monitoringtransactions, managing the reporting process, assisting with policy updates,and providing staff training to detect and prevent financial crime. Requirements Experienceand Qualifications Minimum of a law degree from a reputableuniversity. Fluent in English. Arabic communicationis a plus. 2-5 years of work experience postqualification. Strong experience of contract analysis,review and drafting. Excellent negotiation, communication,and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal mattersto non-legal stakeholders clearly.
