Power BI Developer role at Dicetek LLC Overview The Power BI Developer will design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support business decisions. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modeling, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards. - Connect to data sources, import and transform data for BI solutions. - Develop data models optimized for performance and usability; implement row-level security (RLS). - Create advanced DAX measures and calculations; publish, schedule, and distribute reports to stakeholders. - Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into visuals and data models. - Document design methodologies and project details; ensure version control and documentation. - Optimize data models and queries to improve performance. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field. - 5 years of experience developing data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI. - Fluency in DAX and M language. Skills - Power BI development and administration - Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop - Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for BI - Analytical thinking to translate data into informative visuals and reports - Implementing row-level security on data - Proficient in DAX queries in Power BI Desktop - Advanced data modeling and performance optimization - Design methodology and project documentation - Publishing, scheduling, and sharing Power BI reports as per business requirements - Understanding business requirements to develop data models accordingly - Prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis Job Details - Employment type: Contract - Job function: Information Technology - Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
