Position Overview Al-Futtaim Group is seeking a motivated Trainee Electrical Engineer to support project execution and site coordination under the supervision of the Senior Electrical Engineer. The role involves managing internal and external electrical works, ensuring compliance with safety, design, and quality standards, and contributing to the successful completion of engineering projects within budget and timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments to ensure timely project delivery.
- Support Engineers and Supervisors in estimating material, equipment, and labour requirements.
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, and procurement documentation.
- Track material approvals, vendor coordination, and project documentation to ensure schedule compliance.
- Monitor site productivity and ensure minimal material wastage.
- Promote compliance with safety procedures and support risk mitigation on-site.
- Participate in preparing method statements, closeout documentation, and project reports.
- Liaise with the mechanical and civil teams to coordinate MEP integration.
- Maintain quality standards through adherence to company engineering templates and specifications. Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience in electrical or MEP contracting roles.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and Primavera software.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and project lifecycle.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment under supervision. Skills Set
