- Safely drive company vehicles on designated routes, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain the proper operation of the vehicle by regularly inspecting it for any problems, refilling fuel, and cleaning it inside and out.
- Monitor traffic conditions, detours, road closures, speed limits etc., while driving in order to ensure timely delivery of goods or people.
- Follow the given instructions from supervisors or dispatchers about the route to take or stops to make along the way.
- Comply with laws such as speed limits, traffic regulations etc., while driving.
- Keep records of mileage, fuel consumption etc., as required by company policy.
- Load and unload goods from vehicle as necessary when making deliveries or pickups. Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations on record in the past year
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving cars/trucks/vans (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with local roads in El-Ain area
- Good knowledge of traffic laws
