ISP Regional FP&A Analyst Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The Regional FP&A Analyst supports the Regional Head of FP&A and is responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams, delivering insights on business performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, a solid understanding of financial modelling, and experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

ISP Regional FP&A Analyst Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of FP&A in the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
2. Analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
3. Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business planning.
4. Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business drivers and financial impacts.
5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
6. Support the month-end and quarter-end financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, with a strong focus on revenue reconciliation and identifying key variance drivers against budget, forecast, and prior year.
7. Identify risks and opportunities, proposing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
8. Drive process improvements and automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
9. Support the Head of FP&A in setting up processes to track After School Activities (ASA) providers' performance, contract renewals, and sourcing new providers.
10. Prepare and write CAPEX investment papers, including financial justifications, ROI analysis, and risk assessments to support capital expenditure decisions.
11. Utilize Power BI tools to enhance data visualization and reporting efficiency.
12. Competitor benchmarking and comparison to industry standards and market trends.
13. Any other tasks or responsibilities that may be delegated by the Head of FP&A or Regional Finance Director.
Position Requirements
Education:
1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related function.
Language:
1. English is mandatory.
2. Arabic is an advantage.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
1. Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
2. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with financial planning tools such as Hyperion or PBCS is a plus.
3. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
7. Interpersonal skills including tact, courtesy, and patience.
8. Experience of working in a large multinational matrix organisation.
