Finance Manager

Job Description Our client is a global, regulated financial services group operating at scale across multiple markets, with a strong presence in the FX, CFDs, commodities, and digital assets space. Headquartered in the UAE, the organization serves a large international client base and is recognized for its advanced trading infrastructure, institutional-grade liquidity, and strong regulatory governance. As part of the continued expansion of its regulated cryptocurrency exchange and digital assets offering, the group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support and lead financial operations within the crypto business. This role sits at the intersection of traditional financial management and digital assets, playing a critical role in financial planning, reporting, treasury oversight, and risk control to support sustainable growth in a regulated environment. Role Overview The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, reporting, compliance, treasury operations, and financial controls for the crypto and digital assets business. The role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on finance leadership, and a solid understanding of both conventional financial frameworks and blockchain-based operations. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling for the crypto business unit - Analyze revenue drivers, trading volumes, fee structures, liquidity metrics, and profitability - Develop scenario analysis and financial impact assessments for new product launches, including derivatives, institutional offerings, and tokenized products Financial Reporting & Compliance - Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS or applicable local standards - Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit and regulatory readiness - Ensure finance processes support regulatory requirements, including AML-related financial controls and digital asset custody reporting Treasury & Digital Asset Management - Oversee treasury operations across fiat accounts, crypto wallets, liquidity positions, and FX exposure - Manage stablecoin balances, staking activities, yield-generating assets, and funding strategies in coordination with risk and operations teams - Reconcile on-chain transactions with internal ledgers and accounting systems Risk & Financial Controls - Design and maintain robust internal controls for reconciliation, settlement, and wallet security - Establish monitoring frameworks for market, counterparty, and operational risk across crypto trading and OTC activities - Partner with compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant handling of client funds Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams to embed financial metrics into product strategy, pricing, and feature validation - Support business development and institutional sales teams with financial insights related to pricing models, margins, and product profitability Key Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA is a strong advantage - Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within fintech, digital assets, exchanges, or regulated financial services - Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, digital wallet structures, and on-chain reconciliation - Proven experience across FP&A, financial reporting, treasury management, and internal controls - Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and accounting systems - Ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders - Experience operating within regulated environments and regulatory reporting frameworks - Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools and crypto accounting platforms is a plus
