Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, shoring, foundations, wet wells, dry wells, and concrete structures.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
- Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
- Monitor construction activities for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Verify materials, reinforcement, concrete works, and workmanship.
- Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Identify site defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress and issues.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for interface works. Required Qualifications &
Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pumping station or underground infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete works and underground structures.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
- Experience in inspection and QA/QC documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
