Direct message the job poster from WTS Energy Search Specialist | Headhunter | All Things Oil & Gas Location: India 2/28 Rotation Responsibilities The responsibilities of Subsea Supervisor are as a minimum: Ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective deployment of Subsea XT and upper completion equipment on the rig. Supervision and monitoring of XT installations and well upper completion/workover/P&A operations in accordance with company objectives and policies. Ensure all rig‐upgrade requirements are addressed to handle Subsea and Upper completion equipment. Interface with Rig contractor and other Subsea Contractors to ensure deliveries are met. Oversight and planning of onshore preparation and offshore installation of Subsea Equipment in collaboration with the Drilling/Completions, O&M/Projects teams as well as the Drilling Contractor, Third Party Subsea Company and Equipment suppliers. Installation and testing of IWOCS control panel, umbilical reeler on the rig while interfacing with rig personnel. Installation and testing of Completion/Workover Riser or Subsea Landing String equipment (including control panel and electrohydraulic umbilical reeler) on the rig. Testing of all functions of Lower Landing String Assembly (LLSA) and LLSA along with Tubing Hanger. Preparing Standing Instructions for Driller ahead of each Subsea operation. Running and installation of subsea XT. Testing and calibration (wherever necessary) of ROV tooling. Preparing the landing string tally. Pick‐up, make‐up and running of LLSA/THRT/TH and ULSA through the Rotary Table on the rig. Supervising all pressure‐tests after the setting of TH in the XT. Supervising all ROV operations on the XT. Supervising all Slickline operations such as installation/retrieval of crown plugs and TH Isolation Sleeve. Supervising contingency operations using Wireline or Coiled Tubing for installation/retrieval of crown plugs. Ensuring that the well is completed and handed over to the field Operations & Maintenance department after the placement of fully tested barriers. Preparing and submitting daily subsea reports to office. Visiting intervention vessel for any supervisory activities, when necessary. Supervising testing and maintenance activities in contractors' bases/workshops. Coordinate with office based and rig site personnel to ensure the optimal execution of the Tree Installation & Upper completions program. Participate in regular audits/reviews and incident investigations in relations to Subsea discipline. The person will report to the Head - Rig Operations Deepwater and functionally report to Sr. Lead Subsea Engineer. Responsible for the documented close out of Lessons Learned, vendor/equipment‐related audits and support the Rig Operations teams on all audit close‐out actions as required. Competency/Skill Requirement Engineering or industry-related qualification. Minimum 15 Years Industry experience in subsea well drilling and upper completion operations with a strong background in Subsea Completion operations. Should have been the Subsea Supervisor for at least 3 other projects with an Operator. Experience of developing and implementation of procedures and work instructions. Should have expertise in Subsea Horizontal Xmas Tree systems, IWOCS and Subsea Test Tree and landing string equipment. Capable of performing space‐out calculations and accounting for tidal movements for floaters. Should have expertise in Subsea wells equipment and Rig BOP's and other rig interfaces. Familiar with ROVs, ROV tooling and interfaces. Familiar with the procedures, operations and limitations of Contractor's service tools and packers and capable of troubleshooting. Should be familiar with the installation and operation of Upper Completion equipment e.g. production packer, deep set pressure assisted SCSSV, downhole gauges, CIM etc. Should be familiar with the tubing running procedures and experienced in interpreting torque‐turn graphs. Should have expertise in Slickline, E‐line and Coiled Tubing operations (with pressure control equipment) especially on a floater. Should be familiar with the industry standards (API, ISO etc.) for XMT and upper completion equipment. Should have experience of Quality Plans, QA/QC processes for Landing strings, XMTs, TH, ITC and ROV Tooling. Should be familiar with DTL, CWOP, AAR, Risk Analysis application etc. Should have good understanding of well construction process and upper completions.
