Engineering Manager
- Defence Engineering | KATIM
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering workstreams across complex defence programmes.
- Drive delivery against technical, schedule, cost, quality, and integration objectives.
- Plan resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, and engineering priorities.
- Coordinate Systems, Software, Hardware, Integration, Test, Cybersecurity, and Network teams.
- Act as the technical focal point for stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and programme leadership.
- Support technical decisions, risk mitigation, change control, and engineering governance. Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Defence, Aerospace, Communications, or mission‑critical technology.
- Proven experience leading engineering development activities and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, systems integration, verification, and programme delivery.
- Experience working in regulated or defence environments. Key Skills
- Defence Communications, C2/C4ISR, Tactical Communications, Defence Networking, or Secure Communications.
- Engineering & Programme Management.
- Systems Integration, Technical Risk & Delivery Management.
- Stakeholder and Supplier Management.
- Familiarity with MS Project, JIRA, DOORS/JAMA, Confluence, and EVM.
- Strong technical leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills. #KATIM
