Experience & Domain Knowledge:

    • 3 years of professional PHP development experience: Extensive experience with PHP Laravel and backend development technologies
    • Indepth experience developing and maintaining scalable secure backend applications: Proficient in creating APIs handling authentication managing database interactions and integrating thirdparty services
    • Ability to ensure clear documentation of created/modified functionality to enable team collaboration and knowledge transfer

Technical skills:

    • Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel framework
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations
    • Proficiency in SQL with a strong understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL PostgreSQL etc.)
    • Experience with CI/CD tools and testing frameworks to support an automated development lifecycle
    • Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)

Soft skills:

    • Communication: Effective communication skills especially with teams responsible for security operations and product
    • Analytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert them to the task
    • Adaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust to quick technological shifts and evolving business requirements
    • Ownership and Accountability: Readiness to take ownership of tasks and issues as well as demonstrate accountability for the results and outcome

Nice to have:

    • Experience with Docker and containerization for development and deployment
    • Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka)
    • Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) for deploying applications and services
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
