The Senior Digital Interface Engineer will lead the execution and implementation of Smart Fields, digitization, and autonomous operations technologies, ensuring seamless integration across exploration, drilling, field development, and production domains. This role will provide technical expertise and act as a key interface between various operational teams, stakeholders, and technology providers to ensure the successful deployment of advanced digital solutions and autonomous The Engineer will also be responsible for supporting AlP5 projects, focusing on digital transformation and operational efficiency through cutting-edge technologies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • 10 -12 years of experience; including atleast experience in Engineering/ Geology/ Petro- Physics/ Drilling requirements.
  • Extensive experience in the Exploration and Production ( E&P) Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of technical Software applications & workflows.
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal and people management skills.

    • Managing timelines, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

  • Collaboration:

    • Working effectively with development teams, IT departments, business analysts, and external vendors to ensure successful interface integration.
    • Understanding the needs of different departments and ensuring that interfaces meet those requirements.
Desired candidate profile

  • System Integration:

    • Expertise in integrating software, hardware, and networks to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
    • Knowledge of integration methodologies like Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, and Microservices.

  • Interface Design and Development:

    • Designing and developing interfaces between disparate systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, database systems, and external APIs).
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for developing APIs or interface logic.

  • Middleware and Communication Protocols:

    • Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion Middleware, MuleSoft) for managing communication between systems.
    • Proficiency in various communication protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, MQTT, or AMQP.

  • Data Mapping and Transformation:

    • Expertise in data mapping and transformation to convert information from one format to another between systems.
    • Familiarity with tools like Talend, Informatica, or custom scripts for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

  • Troubleshooting and Debugging:

    • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing interface issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
    • Experience with logging, error handling, and monitoring tools to identify and fix integration problems.

  • Database Management:

    • Proficiency in database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) for managing and querying data used in interface processes.
    • Understanding of database design, normalization, and data integrity best practices.
