How will you make an impact

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented professional to manage the global transfer pricing function for our group. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with international tax regulations optimizing tax efficiency and supporting the business with transfer pricing analysis documentation and audits. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills experience in financial modelling and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders. Key elements to the role include:

  • Manage the global transfer pricing for the Group
  • Preparation of transfer pricing analysis/model for the Group
  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation including local files master files and policy documentation
  • Identify where value is created in their global value chain and opportunities for tax efficiency
  • Collate evidence and documentation to build a defense file emails minutes internal announcements
  • Conduct financial economic value chain and benchmarking analysis
  • Assist with the use of technology on improving operational transfer pricing
  • Develop technical skills through on the job training as well as structured training on aspects such as Australian and global transfer pricing developments
  • Facilitate training sessions to global finance team to educate them on the transfer pricing model
  • Support the business with audit requirements regarding transfer pricing
  • Perform functional interviews with individuals within the business to gain understanding of the roles and responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of the transfer pricing numbers to the local statutory financials
  • Assist with finalisation of intercompany agreements relating to our intragroup services
  • Assist with transfer pricing implications on other intragroup services including finance arrangements transfer of business assets/IP/real estate and other M&A deals
  • Stay abreast on the developments of OECD Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting and the impact it has on the business

The skills we would love to see in your suitcase

  • Strong background in transfer pricing.
  • Degree in Accounting Commerce Law and/or undertaking/completion of the CA/CPA.
  • Strong technical analytical skills particularly with excel.
  • Minimum 5 years tax experience gained from large corporates or Big 4 / Midtier advisory firms.
  • Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills. Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
