JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop piping layouts isometric drawings and 3D models for onshore oil and gas facilities ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Generate and review piping deliverables such as General Arrangement (GA) drawings piping plans and material takeoffs (MTOs).
  • Collaborate with piping engineers and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of piping systems with structural civil and mechanical designs.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using 3D modeling tools.
  • Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers to ensure compatibility with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (e.g. ASME API) and clientspecific requirements (e.g. ADNOC standards).
  • Participate in model reviews design reviews and client meetings to address technical issues and ensure project alignment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 815 years of experience as a Piping Designer with a focus on onshore oil and gas projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Smart Plant 3D
  • Strong understanding of piping systems materials and specifications for oil and gas applications.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Handson experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases of oil and gas projects.
  • Familiarity with international standards like ASME B31.3 and clientspecific standards such as ADNOC specifications.
  • Must be ready to join immediately and work in Abu Dhabi.
