Traction Power and Power Supply Project Manager (f/m/d) Join DB Engineering & Consulting as a Traction Power and Power Supply Project Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Responsibilities Oversee all traction power and power supply components for the High‑Speed Rail project. Manage the full project lifecycle: design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, testing, commissioning, integration, and handover. Supervise installation methodology, quality checks, cabling, equipment installs, and power‑up/testing. Ensure quality assurance and control on contractor deliverables per the Project Quality Assurance and Management Plan. Review and approve material approval requests to meet client contracts, specs, and applicable codes. Provide technical input on field change requests, non‑conformance reports, and site changes. Implement approved Project Integration Plans and work with the HSR operator for safe, timely integration. Manage site logistics, off‑site manufacturing/assembly, inspections, testing, surveillance, and supplier audits. Assist in preparation, application, and acquisition of consents, permits, licenses, and approvals for design, construction, delivery, testing, and operation. Manage and supervise works for delivery of new/altered assets for third‑party stakeholders. Prepare technical presentations and reports for stakeholders and authorities. Maintain trackers for temporary works, shop drawings, as‑built drawings, material approvals, and O&M manuals. Qualifications University degree (master’s preferred; Chartered Engineer status advantageous). Minimum 15 years of experience in rail project design and/or construction with relevant expertise. Mandatory experience delivering High‑Speed Rail projects. Proven record leading projects of comparable complexity and size. Experience in the Middle East and/or UAE projects is beneficial. Strong capabilities in creating and refining management plans (resource, process, risk, quality, interface). Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
