Skills:
Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Water transmission pipelines, Sewerage networks, Pump stations, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, RCC reservoirs and associated civil structuresCost EstimationRate AnalysisTenderingBid PreparationProficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft ExcelKey
Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-offs (QTOs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed cost estimates from tender drawings and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, RO plants, reservoirs, and associated civil worksReview tender documents, identify project scope and prepare technical and commercial clarifications where requiredObtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and perform rate analysisCoordinate with engineering, procurement and commercial teams during the tendering processIdentify risks, opportunities and value engineering proposals to support competitive bidsPrepare technical and commercial tender submissions in accordance with client requirementsMaintain estimating records, cost databases and historical pricing information to improve estimating accuracySupport the handover of awarded projects by providing estimate details and tender assumptions to the project execution teamBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with MOHESR EquivalencyEngineer's License from Abu Dhabi MunicipalityMinimum 5-7 years of experience in a civil estimation role in the UAE
