Our client — an innovative, well‑funded financial technology company in the UAE — is seeking a dynamic Head of Compliance to join their executive team and drive a culture of integrity, governance, and risk excellence. About the Role As the Head of Compliance, you will be the company’s primary authority on all regulatory matters, ensuring operations meet UAE regulatory requirements. You will design and maintain a robust compliance programme that supports the company’s ambitious growth while protecting customers, partners, and the business. This is an opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast‑paced environments and wants to have a meaningful impact on the future of fintech in the region. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee the company’s full compliance and risk framework. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies. Monitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on implications for products and operations. Lead internal compliance audits, AML/CTF programmes, policy formation, and incident escalation. Train and empower teams across the business to maintain compliance awareness. Ensure customer onboarding, KYC, and transaction monitoring meet regulatory standards. Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and notifications. Build, mentor, and lead a best‑in‑class compliance team.Qualifications8+ years of compliance experience, ideally in Fintech. Demonstrated track record in building or scaling a compliance function. Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Ability to balance regulatory rigour with commercial and operational realities.
