Power Plant Project Manager

Project Engineering Excellence RequiredCrafting innovative solutions for the construction industry demands exceptional leadership and engineering expertise.We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to lead our coal-fired power plant projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in project management, from conception to commissioning, with a proven track record of delivering complex industrial projects on time and within budget.Lead and supervise the installation of major equipment as per engineering standards.Ensure safe and systematic dismantling/de-installation of plant structures, mechanical systems, and equipment.Oversee repair, refurbishment, and reinstallation of dismantled power plant components.Coordinate daily with engineering, contractors, and OEM teams for smooth project execution.Monitor project schedule, manpower, and resources to ensure timely progress.Ensure all installation and dismantling activities meet safety, quality, and compliance requirements.Lead commissioning-related tasks after installation and ensure systems are ready for operation.Prepare regular progress reports and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.Key Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.15-20 years of experience in coal-fired power plant construction, commissioning, dismantling, or refurbishment.Demonstrated experience working with construction companies, EPC contractors, or OEM service providers in coal-fired plant projects.Strong understanding of power plant systems including boilers, turbines, BOP systems, piping, and auxiliary equipment.Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and managing complex industrial projects.Preferred SkillsExperience with coal plant dismantling and refurbishment projects.Ability to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects.
