Associate Professor- Computer Science (Software Engineering) The Department of Computer Science at Khalifa University is inviting applications for full-time faculty positions at the ranks of Assistant and Associate Professor. Successful candidates will be expected to: Develop and lead a high‑impact, internationally visible research program Publish in top‑tier journals and CORE‑ranked conferences Attract competitive external research funding Teach and develop courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels Supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, as well as undergraduate projects Collaborate across disciplines within the university and with global academic and industry partners Participate in departmental, university, and professional service Qualifications & Experience Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution Strong record of publications in top venues (CORE A*/A conferences, top 10% Scopus journals) Scopus H-index requirements: Minimum 6 for Assistant Professor Minimum 15 for Associate Professor Other Requirements: Demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to secure competitive research funding Commitment to high-quality teaching and mentorship For Associate: Evidence of academic leadership, graduate supervision, and professional service Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Research and Engineering Industries Higher Education, Research Services, and Education #J-18808-Ljbffr
