Offshore HSE Manager

Penspen urgently needs a specialist/senior HSE engineer for an offshore project in Abu Dhabi.Job OverviewThis role is responsible for leading health, safety and environment aspects of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and international standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures and risk management strategies.Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments and safety studies for offshore construction and operations.Ensure compliance with local regulations and company HSE policies.Supervise offshore HSE activities during construction, installation and commissioning.Organize HSE induction, training and competency programs for offshore personnel.Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical and marine teams to ensure safe execution of activities.Develop and maintain emergency response plans for offshore operations.Lead emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness of response procedures.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, safety or environmental sciences required.Minimum 15-18 years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore projects required.Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and risk management required.Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH and OSHA preferred.Previous ADNOC offshore experience advantageous.
