Job Description
This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a high standard of governance to ensure decisions are aligned with the organization strategy and the strategy remains compliant with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirementsThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast moving environments , can connect business strategy with execution , and enjoys building collaborative structure that empower teams to deliver exceptional results.
Will be required to work closely with cross functional leaders in project management , product, service delivery, support and operations to ensure projects are aligned with business goals and customer outcome.
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and lead the Governance & PMO function: Define standards, methodologies and tools for consistent project deliveryStrategic Alignment : Ensure all projects and programs contribute to business goals and customer successPortfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives, manage dependencies , and track overall performanceBudget & Benfits : Finalize yearly portfolio budgets and report performance against approved budgets : business benefits achieved for all the delivered programs/projectsLeadership & Mentoring : Coach existing project managers, foster collaboration and promote professional growthGovernance & Reporting : Provide visibility to executive leadership through dashboards , KPI’s and risk assessments. Efficiently managing C Suite steering committeesProcess Improvements : Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable processes to improve delivery timelines and qualityStakeholder Management : Serve as the central point of contact between executive leadership and project teamsWhat we are looking for10+ years of experience in project or program management including 10+ years in PMO roleProven experience in a Software technology driven organization (banking and financial institutions)Strong knowledge of Agile and hybrid project management methodologiesDemonstrated ability to manage complex, cross functional initiativesExceptional communication, leadership and strategic thinking skillsPMO, Prince 2 or PMP certification preferred but not mandatoryFluent English both written and spoken.
